Wrong Again

Just shoot me, please
 The Bush administration has decided to supply billions of dollars in advanced new weapons to Saudi Arabia , other Arab allies of the United States and... and why don't they just shoot me?

Let's make note here: 19 of the 9/11 jihadiim were Saudis, Osama is Saudi and your Aunt Myrtle could tell you, there is a lot wrong with selling smart bomb tech to your enemies. This is the same road Bill Clinton went down with the ChiComs, giving them the tech to target accurately with their ICBM's and MIRV's.

If this weapons upgrade is a good idea, then so is giving North Korea oil for acting like they might , maybe at some point  in the future give up their nuke program, kinda, sorta. Which W also did. There is a point of diminishing returns when outfitting ones enemies with the weapons with which to wage war against our "not enemies"

In this type of situation, a bit of Capitalism can go a long way, and even be carried to far. Such as the Rosenburgs did with the former soviet Union. That was Capitalism carried to the extreme, for ideological reasons, but also for filthy lucre.

There are I'm sure some very good reasons to provide the tech to The House of Saud, if one is a half wit in need of.... dang, I can't thinkof a single thing a half-wit would need which might prompt him to sell weapons to the Saudis. Except for Michael jackson.

More and better weapons in a region which has at the very core of their existence a millenia long feud going on, a feud in which the players don't know or care about logic or reason or who lived where first anymore.
Reminds me of when I was ten years old and I got my first chance to play with cherry bombs and M-80's.

Why do I feel like Forrest Gump got elected to the Presidency?
And before you go there, I do in fact believe the right choice was made, the only thing worse than W would have been John effen Kerry, whose picture along with the Breck Boy is still glued to the inside of my toilet bowl at work.

How I long for the day when Congressman Duncan Hunter is a nationally electable kind of guy. That will be the day the jihadiim cry out to mooooohamud for mercy against their enemy, and it won't do any good. moohammud is dead and so is their allah. God the Father kicked his butt and took his name out of the Book of Life.

Epitome of A LIberal

The absolute epitome of the  Modern LIberal was recently discovered by accident in (of course) France.
A man who functioned in French society as a Civil Servant or as we call them in the US, a beaureaucrat.
(go figure).
The man who doctors found to have very little actual brain material appeared to have the ability to function as a civil servant, father children and be everything  the typical Frenchie wants to be.
The man has what is known as Dandy Walker Complex.

So perhaps that explains why so many liberals are walking around these days, there is an epidemic of unknown, but vast proportions of Dandy Walker Complex in this country.

That would on so many levels explain so much of the abberrant behavior of the Left Wing Wackos. It would cover the narcissitic behavior, the suicidal ideation of "Cut & Run" from Iraq, the insistence on protecting Bill Clinton when he was and still is an uncontrite molester of women, and just an entire plethora of other ignorant behavior.

To the President of the United States of America:
You seem to have the ability to make  choices which are hardly a promotion of conservative values, but you have no problem with promoting Liberal Policies at a range of issues to broad to fit in a Volkswagen.

Have you forgotten who we your supporters are? Athletically speaking, we need to know that our concerns are your concerns. But I for one feel left out in the cold. Turn loose the dogs Mr President.
The Moozlums and the Liberals have a lot in common, Neither group will ever like you , no matter what you do.

And at least the moozlums are reasonably honest about it. The Executive order for Interrogation practices is a way to start. Just put the pen to paper and start writing.

First: Lets do something about those cretins in Sadr City. Does the term MOAB come to mind?
Does for me.
Then Fallujah, quite a passel of folks there who need to go to a Texas Size BBQ.

Next? That idiot AmmyDinjyJad in Iran. Let him KNOW that he is on the short list, he's been killing our men and women in Iraq by offering support, material and materiel to the insurgent murderers fighting against the US and Iraqi forces. That seems to fit the definition of the Axis of Evil you gave us a while back.
Seems they (the Iranian Gov't) may not be for us, so just maybe they are against us?
Just a guess on  my part.

Again, next: The CONgress as it is now constituted hates you. The Liberal Socialist group hate you because ... well just because you're you. And thats all they need.

The other RepubliKrat Socialist RINO's don't like you because you threaten them by making it hard for them to remain as lifelong members of the New American Aristocracy (CONgress). If you can't please them, the hell with them. You might notice Mr. President, the only group with lower approval ratings than you - is CONgress.

You could make a comeback though, it would only take the effort to do whats RIGHT.
Be that Conservative we all thought we voted for. Not the RINO you've been acting like. At least I hope it's an act.

It's easy Mr President, just start dong the RIGHT thing, the rest will follow.

As much as I disagree with the Pres. these days, since the Amnesty Fiasco, he appears to be growing cojones. First the Executive privelge thing and now the reworking of the rules for interrogation.

 Different Day More Liberal Drivel from W. Dang but that hurts. At his townhall (reported by AP) style meeting he expresses dismay that his Amnesty bill hit a roadblock called the AMERICAN PUBLIC.

One quote from the story   "...said Bush, "I can make you a prediction ... that pretty shortly people are going to be knocking on people's doors saying `Man we're running out of workers."

Well Dufus W, heres a direct quote from a Purely Conservative point of view.

Keep on flogging that dead horse of Amnesty and you will be knocking on doors trying to find where your last supporters are. They will all be gone.
The American Public , Conservatives and even some less than totally ignorant Liberals have no desire to have a bunch of wet back Mexicans made legal and given preferential treatment and government subsidies and/or welfare.

Let it go fool. It's done.
And then pardon those two Border Partol agents. Scooters three year term in a white collar prison was "excessive"? But 11 years and 12 years for Ramos and Compean is just about right?

There is a point at which loyalty to a person, when faced with their ineptitude and wrong headedness is just plain silly.

I keep going back to the thoughts of what exactly it is which bothers me about the “Fairness Doctrine”. And it strikes me the problem is the amount of Orwellian Doublespeak which is involved in the idea of limiting free speech. (an oxymoron if there ever was one).

 The concept of requiring a free enterprise business to air the views of a person or group whose views would never find an audience otherwise has never made sense. If a person or group wants to air their views - let them, on their own dime. The idea that any group is “owed” the time to rant about the latest attack on a Bulbous Nosed Butterfly Colony is ridiculous. The concept of demanding a vocal minority be given a voice, which nobody wants to listen to is patently absurd.

The right to Free Speech is guaranteed, the right to be heard is not. The idea of demanding that I listen to a bunch of neo-socialist drivel is not guaranteed by anything in the Constitution I’ve ever read. Which is what keeps bringing me back to the Orwellian connection, The Neo-Socialists are demanding the right to be heard, not because they don’t have a venue, but because the only ones who want to listen to it are the ones spewing the drivel. And the rest of us would rather just have a headache the old-fashioned way, a wooden mallet like the one Bugs Bunny uses on Elmer Fudd.

My thought was it’s OK for them to spew their hate filled diatribe against everything this Country stands for, that is what Free Speech is about, but they don’t have the right to make me listen.

In the book by George Orwell, 1984, the masses were continuoulsy inundated by the Government propaganda machine. Everywhere they turned, everywhere they sat, stood,  waited or even took a dump, the “War is Peace” sloganeering cretins were at work to ensure a docile populace.

I choose not be docile in the face of this threat to my rights as an American. The choice of which ideas I choose to listen to and to espouse are just that - mine to choose. If the Neo-Socialist New American Aristocracy (CONgress) wants to force me to listen to a dissenting point of view, they will do it only at the point of a gun. And I will still refuse.

The Neo-Socialist New American Aristocracy should move to Cuba. There at least and at last they might feel more at home. And Castro knows how to deal with dissenting views rather more abruptly.

After being gone for a week and a half, I find the same drivel dribbling from Washington, the Far Left, the Near Left, and the Nearly Left Republicans.

I had High hopes of some sort of a miraculous transformation. But nothing of the sort occurred.

Minumum Wage & Economic Invaders

 Illegal Immigration is Economic Invasion of this country. illegal Immigration has waged war (economically) against the working poor of this Country. This occurred to me today after hiring someone to do some work at my home.
He was a good worker, willing to work hard in 100 degree weather. But for all intents - unemployed.

An individual who was not wiling to work for minimum wage. So I started wondering why is it that the minimum wage has stayed so low for so long. As in everything else in life, when the Governement gets involved it's bound to go fubar in a hurry. So it is with the minimum wage.

I submit to y'all - the minmum wage has remained unable to keep up with inflation because of the "shadow workers". The Illegals smart enough to walk north, but not smart enough to command top wages. Or at least uneducated enough to accept low wages in industry's unwilling to pay more than the absolute minimum to acheive the desired result.

So this seems like a time to apply common sense. Most Americans want an end to the continual drag on the economy which the shadow working Illegal Immigration  produces,  and which affects the working poor in this country by keeping their wages and income earning ability artificialy stunted.

Most Americans also want an end to Illegal Immigration for purely legal reasons, with no desire to reward Unlawful Behavior.

Nearly every American wants to live in a country where every person who is capable of working and taking care of themselves - does so. And those people are not allowed to sit on their derriere sucking down tax funded welfare to do nothing more than create more welfare users.

Never forget that welfare is just your tax money being handed to those who won't do for themselves what they should be required to do. Make a living and support themselves. And it does no good to mandate another group of laws (laws never seem to be all alone these days, it takes a comprehensive approach and a plethora of laws to deal with every issue that comes up) to make that happen, that direction is just a larger more bloated beauracracy to handle the job of babysitting the uninspired citizen who prefers to do nothing and live a miserable existence in poverty instead of having a job or a business to support the good life of which we are nearly all capable.

So... down to the nitty gritty;

To end Illegal Immigration and lift the poor out of poverty demands no new law, no new Government Program. It requires only that we as a Nation close our borders to Illegal Immigration. (those laws are already on the books) Period. And at that point remove those who live in the shadows. The removal is really simple, not requiring a massive transport system, we already have one of the finest transport systems on the planet.

We need only mandate that no business be able to hire Illegal Immigrants ( Economic Invaders)
When (and it will happen) a business is found with Economic Invaders as employees, fine them to a degree which will discourage such practices. Such as 10% of the companies annual gross income per occurrence. Ten Illegals would equal the total gross income for the year. I as an employer would hestitate to put my total gross annual income on the line for cheap labor. Coupled with a refusal to grant Economic Invaders any services from any goverment source, the problem melts away the same way it happened in the first place, the Economic Invaders sneak back into Mexico and go back home to fix the problems where they came from instead of bringing their problemns to us to fix.

To make the greatest impact on the American Economy we would also need to eliminate the idea of Illegal Invaders being able to sneak across the border and have a child which automatically becomes an American citizen. And to declare by law, that every child so born in the last eighteen years is stripped of citizenship. They can go home with their parents. That would place all minors with their family and removes the whole concept of Family Reunification.


Simple wasn't it?

Beyond All Expectation

I had no expectation W would do the right thing by Scooter Libby, but he fooled me. W did do the Right thing. By commutatting the sentence of Scooter Libby, W while not able to make amends for his narrowly averted disater of Amnesty has at least shown himself to still be able to have a sense of what is wrong and what is right.

My only desire is that W would have shown the same care for the Country he is entrusted with protecting "and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Somehow I still believe that means to uphold the concept of not allowing Illegal Invaders to be legalized.

But in the meantime,
"Good job W"
